Ход урока
I. Начало урока (2 minutes)
1.Организационныймомент
— Goodmorning, students. Sit down, please. Get ready for the lesson.
2. Беседа с классом о настроении, погоде, дежурстве в классе
— It’s a nice day today, isn’t it? — Yes, it is / No, it isn’t.
— How are you? — I am fine, thank you.
— Who is on duty today? — I am on duty today.
— What date is it today? — Today is the 17th of March.
— What is the weather today? — The weather is good / bad / awful. It’s sunny / it’s raining hard / it is cloudy.

Today we are going to practice the usage of conditional sentences and to talk about our favourite book and characters.
III. Фонетическаязарядка (3-5 minutes)
But before it let’s remember some tongue-twisters with the consonant [w], which is very useful when we are talking about conditions and wishes.(Слайд 2)
Скороговорка: I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish, but if you wish the wish the witch wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish.
And some other tongue-twisters containing conditional sentences.Pay attention on the vowel [əu] (Слайд 3).
Скороговорки: If two witches would watch two watches, which witch would watch which watch?
If you notice this notice, you will notice that this notice is not worth noticing.
IV. Речевая зарядка (7 minutes)
1) Повторение грамматического правила Conditional Sentences
Well done, everyone. Now let’s review the forms of Conditionals. Who can tell how many forms of Conditional are there in English? Who can name all the types? Who can talk about their distinctive features?

Okay. Now we see who remembers correctly.

That was right. That wasn’t quite correct, etc. Look at the first / second, etc. slide. Who want to read about the Zero Conditional (First/Second/Third)?
V. Совершенствование грамматических навыков по теме урока
1) Выполнение упражнений с помощью презентации на интерактивной доске
Let’s do some easy exercise to fix your knowledge. Look at the slide and say what the type of this conditional sentence is. (Слайды 8-13).
2) Заданиенакарточкахвгруппахпо 2 человека
Now I hand out cards with the beginnings or endings of the conditional sentences. Say it to your partner and he or she should end it correctly.You may not be too serious and use your sense of humour while doing this exercise.

VI. Контроль грамматических навыков. Рассказ о любимых книгах и их персонажах (15 minutes)
Last time we talked about our favourite books. Now I want you to imagine what will happen if we stop reading right now, this very moment? Use you’re imagination and sense of humour to answer my question, and don’t forget about the rules of usage of the First Conditional.(Слайд 14).
Вариантыответов: If we stop reading right now we won’t be able to finish lesson / our knowledge will decrease / folklore will develop again / etc.
Who can explain, why are we using the Fist Conditional now?
Вариантответа: We’re speaking about the possible future.
Okay, next question to train your imagination. Last time we talked about our favourite books. Try and think to answer that: what would you do if you found yourself in your favourite book as one of its characters or as a new character? (Слайд 15)
Now tell me, why are we using the Second Conditional now?
Вариантответа: We’re speaking about the impossible future.
And the last question. Everyone has a favourite character whose life was sad, unhappy or unlucky. Try and think what would he or she have done to prevent any unhappy or unlucky event in his or her life?(Слайд 16).
Now tell me, why are we using the Third Conditional now?
Вариантответа: We’re speaking about the impossible past.
