Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку в 7 классе

«Путешествие по стране английского языка».

Цели:

- развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся;

- развитие неподготовленной речи учащихся;

- развитие творческих навыков учащихся;

- воспитание интереса к изучению предмета;

- обобщение знаний учащихся, полученных на уроках английского языка.

Ход мероприятия:

Организационный момент:

Teacher: Hello, my dear pupils. Today we are going to have a trip to the land of English language. Сегодня мы с вами совершим путешествие по стране английского языка.

Во время путешествия мы побываем на 5 станциях, на каждой из них вы должны выполнить определенные задания.

У нас 3 команды. Давайте с ними познакомимся. (Домашнее задание: представление команд.)

Teacher: Let’s sing a song! (Ученики поют песню)

1. Let’s go to the “Spelling” station.

Your task is to make words from the letters.

(Ученики составляют слова из предложенных букв) Card #1.

Teacher: Well done!

2. Teacher Let’s go to the “Lexical” station.

Я думаю, вы согласитесь, что путешествуя по какой-либо стране важно знать названия её городов.
Ваше следующее задание: составить как можно больше названий городов Великобритании из полученных частей. Card # 2.

(Key: Manchester, Brighton, Sheffield, Bradford, Belfast, Rochester, Bristol, Stratford, New Castle, Glasgow, London, Oxford, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Liverpool, Cambridge).

Read the text and find English equivalents to the phrases:

London’s Parks.

London is a very big city. More than eight million people live in London.

London is a green city. There are many parks in London. The biggest parks are Hyde Park,

St. James’s Park and Regent’s Park.

London’s famous Zoo is in Regent’s Park. In the Zoo there are animals and birds from different countries and continents. There you can see crocodiles and monkeys, elephants and giraffes, lions and tigers and a lot of other animals. You can give bananas to the monkeys! The English enjoy visiting the Zoo.

In English parks you can do lots of things and have a very good time: you can sit on the grass, you can play football and other games, ride horses, watch ducks, you can walk or have a quiet talk with your friends or read your book. Londoners love their parks!
