The theme: My Best Friend
1. To develop pupils’ oral speech and reading, writing and thinking abilities.
2. To increase their word-stock with the help of new active vocabulary and train them in Grammar..
3. To bring up their interests to the language through different tasks and teach them to care for their friends.

I. The beginning of the lesson: greeting with pupils, short conversation with pupils on duty. T-Cl
II. Checking up the home task: P1, P2, Etc.
III. Introduction of the new theme “ My best friend“(Мойлучшийдруг)
a) Teacher’s leading questions according to the new theme “My best friend “
T: How many friends have you got? Who is your best friend? What is your best friend’s name? What is he\ she like? Why is he\ she your best friend? Etc.
b) New active vocabulary: Often, usually, seldom, always, sometimes, never.
IV. Reading of the text of classroom Exercise3 page 59, text about Omar’s friend.
a) Read and translate.
b) Answer the questions. How old is Rustem? Where does he study? What is his favourite subject? What does he like? Etc.
c) Comprehension check: Is it true or false? He lives in Almaty? He is a teacher. He studies at ordinary school. Etc. P1-P2- P3- Etc.
V. Let us speak: Look through the text and speak about your best friend.
VI. Doing classroom exercises orally and in a written form. Ex. 5,7 page 60.
VII. Conclusion. Your marks for today’s lesson are … . Home task: Exercise 8,10 page 60 from Work book. Write topic about your best friend.
